The maintenance of Science Tokyo Box (hereinafter referred to as “Box”) has been completed since Friday, April 25, 2025.
We would like to inform you of the usage method and precautions.

■ How to use

Please log in to the “Science Tokyo Authentication System” to use the service.
※Please refer to the attached document for the specific login procedure.

■ The scope of use of the Box folder for medical and dental school members

• The following is a list of the folders that can be used by members of the medical and dental school faculty, staff, and students. The linkage to Box folders by department (department, section, group) is scheduled to be supported by the end of the first half of FY2025.
• However, if you need to access a departmental folder ahead of time for business reasons, it is possible for members who have already joined the folder to collaborate on the @m.isct.ac.jp account. However, if you need to access a departmental folder ahead of time for business reasons, you can do so at Please note, however, that collaboration of @m.isct.ac.jp accounts does not reflect personnel changes, so you will need to cancel the collaboration if you no longer need it.
• If you are a member of the Medical and Dental Sciences and wish to use a departmental folder (department, section, or group) in advance, please consult with the #help-教職員box-情報基盤課 (Faculty & Staff WS), and we will be able to collaborate on the personal account of the group leader in charge. However, as mentioned above, you will need to cancel the collaboration when you no longer need it.

• The following information will be distributed to newly hired and enrolled students in the TrustedDB (HR payroll system and academic records management system) after their Science Tokyo IDs are issued.
• For those who are not in the TrustedDB, please wait for the announcement of the next announcement as it is necessary to issue a Science Tokyo ID.

■ Note

• The new members of the Medical and Dental Sciences group will not be able to view the old Tokyo Tech folder, so please move from the old Tokyo Tech folder to the folder in the Science Tokyo Box.
• For the time being, the login authentication system for Slack and Box will be different.
• Data will not be migrated from @tmd.ac.jp account (SharePoint environment, etc.) Sharepoint can continue to be used. Please migrate your data to Box on your own as necessary.
• If you are not eligible for a Box account, please continue to attach the link to Sharepoint when you attach the link to the documents in the university-wide notification.
• If you have obtained a Box free account (@tmd.ac.jp, etc.), you can continue to use Box with your free account, but please note that functions such as access to campus folders and file requests are restricted. Therefore, we ask that you migrate to the new account in order.
• If you are logged in with a Box free account, please log out from the free account once because the Box folder of the free account will be opened even if you log in from the Science Tokyo authentication system.
