Changing Operation of and Renaming Inquiry Channel for Science Tokyo Auth. System


We will start a new inquiry channel for Science Tokyo Auth. System on May 14. There used to be two inquiry channels on Slack such as "#help-portal" for staff/faculty and "#help-portal-students" for student. This time, we will integrate those channels as "#help-sciencetokyo認証システム-情報基盤課".

【Operation start date】 Wednesday, May 14, 2025

【Points to change】

  • "#help-portal-students", which is the previous inquiry channel for students, will be renamed as " #help-sciencetokyo認証システム-情報基盤課 ".
  • " #help-portal ", which is the previous inquiry channel for staff/faculty, will be restricted to post and archived after certain period of time. In addition, the workflow which used to be used in the previous channel is stopped and we will provide a new workflow which is specialized in setting an email for password reissue.
    Previously, you needed to contact us by email when you want to request to change an email for password reissue. However, this workflow will allow you to request to change an email for password reissue on Slack.
    ※ Please make an inquiry with the above new channel for those who can use Slack on Science Tokyo Auth. System.
    ※ For those who haven't logged in to the System yet or who can't use Slack, please contact us by email (contact[@]helpdesk.cii.isct.ac.jp).
