Frequently asked questions on services provided by the Information Department.
Currently, there are some areas where the environment differs between the "Medical and Dental"
and "Science and Engineering" fields, so those areas are classified into their categories.
Please use them based on your environment.
Common
I do not receive an email with a one-time password when I log in.
You have to click on the green button "Send One Time Password" to receive it. Did you forget to click on it?
I can't log in.
Did you mistakenly enter your email address or student/staff number in the "User Name" field?
Please make sure to enter 8 characters Science Tokyo ID（4 lower-case alphabetic characters + 4 numerals）.
I don't know or forgot my username (ScienceTokyo ID)
Please refer to the instruction 「1. username（Science Tokyo ID）and initial password confirmation」in the Science Tokyo Authentication System ] Login Method page
I don't know my password or I forgot it.
Please click on the "Forgot your password?" at the bottom of the login page and reset your password.
I don't receive my one-time password at the e-mail address for password reissue.
The e-mail address for password reissue is probably incorrect or has not been set. Please contact us
from
https://www.helpdesk.cii.isct.ac.jp/st/helpdesk/en/contact.html.
The administrator will reset your e-mail address for password reissue.
Then please follow the password reset procedure.
I can no longer log in using app authentication after I changed my smartphone to a new model
Please reconfigure your OTP application authentication after logging in using another authentication method such as OTP email authentication.
Only passwordless authentication can be selected, and login is not possible except on a PC or smartphone set as the authenticator.
If OTP authentication has not been configured, only the passwordless authentication using
the configured authenticator is possible.
Please set up OTP email authentication after logging in on a device that allows login with
passwordless authentication. Even if you setup only OTP app authentication, setting up OTP email
authentication is essential because it will be impossible to log in if the device on which the
Authenticator or other application is installed becomes unavailable due to malfunction or model change.
