On April 28, 2025, the maintenance for the expansion of services to members of the Medical and Dental Sciences was completed, and some services (browsing materials for the entire university and using personal folders) are now available to members of the Medical and Dental Sciences.
You can use this service from the Science Tokyo Authentication System. Please check Sign-in for instructions.
We are planning to support the integration of the Box accounts of administrative staff members of the Medical and Dental Sciences into the Box folders of each department (division, section, and group) by the first half of FY2025.
We have created usage rules and policies to ensure the smooth and effective use of data sharing in a safe and secure environment.
Users are responsible for their own use of the intramural information services, so please check them in advance and abide by them.
The following are those who can use Box. Depending on your status, you may be able to use box through each authentication system, or you may need to apply in advance.

For members of the Medical and Dental Sciences, only those with the following statuses who have already obtained a Science Tokyo ID and are registered in the Trusted DB (Human Resources and Payroll System/Student Registration System) may use the service.
For other statuses, we will notify you when you can start using the service after coordinating with the Science Tokyo ID issuance schedule.
The cloud storage services provided by the Institute include Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive, and the usage categories for each are as follows.

As with all services, there is a possibility of unintended data loss or information leakage due to operational or configuration errors. When sharing data over a wide area, please make sure to check the data by a small number of people in advance.
If you leave the Institute or graduate, you will no longer be able to use the Science Tokyo authentication system, and files that you own and have shared with others will become completely invisible.
In particular, folders and files that are only used once every year or half a year will suddenly appear to be invisible to users, and files may be lost due to delays in responding to the situation.
Please be sure to check and change the owner of the folder before the file is lost, and take action such as "changing the owner" or "copying
Box Drive, which can be accessed directly from the desktop, is often mistaken for a file on the desktop, and other users' files are often put in the Recycle Bin, including other users' files.
In particular, there have been many cases of users deleting files when they leave the company and then being unable to use their own Box, making it difficult to recover the the files.
Please be especially careful when deleting files.
